HISTORY CAFÉ KICKS OFF WITH A SEPTEMBER TEA
The Overland Trail Museum invites you to join us as we kick off our History Café programs with a light morning tea on Wednesday, September 18 at 10:30 a.m. in the High Plains Education Center. The program for the tea is “Hello Dolly” and will introduce you to the extensive and interesting collection of dolls that are in the Museum’s permanent collection. From “Little Miss No-Name” to Shirley Temple to Barbie, our dolls have a wonderful history and a special place in our collection. We also invite you to bring a doll that may have a special place in your history and share your story with us.
The “light” tea will include a menu of scrumptious sweets, fruit, breads and a choice of teas. This is a ticketed event and reservations are required. Seating is limited and tickets are on sale for $6.00 each. Please call the museum at 522-3895 or stop by to purchase your ticket
